As a nurse practitioner, I have undertaken advanced training which enables me to assess, diagnose and treat patients with urgent and acute conditions – (including but not limited to): coughs, colds, sore throats, ear pain, rashes, urinary infections, abdominal pain, aches and pains, minor injuries, etc. I am able to arrange prescription medications, admissions, and investigations (as needed) and work closely with the team of GPs mostly on “same-day” urgent appointments. Before coming here in I worked extensively in emergency departments, urgent treatment, and walk-in centres.
