Feedback

The practice and our staff are here to provide patients with the best possible care.

Your views and feedback help us understand how the services we deliver are received. We want to hear about your experience as patients – both what we’re doing well and what you would like to see us change.

There are two regular ways you can share your thoughts with us.

Patient Participation Group

A Patient Participation Group, or PPG, is a volunteer group of patients who work collaboratively with GP staff to help plan and improve practice services by ensuring that your views as patients are always represented.

The NHS Friends and Family Test

The NHS Friends and Family Test is a simple, anonymous way for patients to give feedback after receiving care or treatment.

It’s used across the NHS to help understand if patients are happy with the services we provide or where improvement is needed.

Comments, Complaints, Compliments and Suggestions

We welcome comments and suggestions and will try to deal swiftly with any complaints.

Executive Summary

Patients consistently praised staff professionalism, kindness, communication and clinical care. The strongest feedback related to nursing care and feeling listened to. Areas identified for improvement were appointment access, telephone waiting times, appointment delays and some reception interactions.

Positive Feedback

Patients frequently reported friendly staff, clear explanations, compassion, being listened to, supportive nurses and good clinical care.

Areas We Are Working To Improve

Improving appointment access, reviewing telephone systems and callbacks, reducing appointment delays, reviewing prescription access processes and strengthening patient communication.

What Patients Told Us

Most feedback was positive. Patients value caring staff, feeling respected and receiving clear explanations. Where patients were dissatisfied, concerns usually related to access rather than the clinical care received.
